My name is Deanna Bardill, but everyone calls me Dee Dee. In my family creativity and artistic endeavors were always encouraged. From painting to sewing, beadwork to woodwork, I love to create but have always been drawn to the textile arts. I found my passion with felting, especially hats. With every piece I make, I am astonished by the humble nature of a medium that can be transformed into a beautiful piece of sculptable fabric.
My hope is to bring as much joy to you as creating each piece brought to me.

My work is handmade using different felting techniques. ​Felting is an ancient craft that uses little more than agitation ​of some sort to intertwine fibers in a way that creates a ​non-woven fabric. I use a variety of wool each with unique ​properties to create hats and accessories that can be soft, ​sturdy, durable, elegant, or just plain fun.
I do my best to update these pages with new styles and ​creations as they are finished. I will admit, however, that ​creating new pieces is way more enjoyable than maintaining ​a website.
